Summer is the perfect time to visit Aktá Lakota Museum & Cultural Center and explore the stories, traditions, and artistry of the Northern Plains.
Beginning May 1, the museum will be open seven days a week, giving visitors even more opportunities to experience our galleries, bookstore, and peaceful Medicine Wheel Garden overlooking the Missouri River.
Discover contemporary and traditional Native art, learn about Lakota history and culture, and enjoy a meaningful stop in the heart of South Dakota.

- Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
