I-90 West and I-90 East near Chamberlain.
Project Update: July 6, 2023
Current Closures: Currently, traffic is traveling in the eastbound lanes on I-90. The westbound ramps to/from the Chamberlain rest area and exit 263 (Chamberlain) are CLOSED. Eastbound ramps are unaffected.
Future closures: By mid-July, the traffic configuration will switch. At that point, there will not be any westbound ramp closures in place. Eastbound ramps to/from the Chamberlain rest area and exit 263 (Chamberlain) will be closed.
June Completed Work: Completed bridge repair work in the westbound lanes, except bridge approach pavement. Completed installation of storm sewer pipe in the westbound lanes. Currently working on the placement of gravel base on the shoulders and replacing concrete at the bridge ends.
Anticipated Work in July: Completion of the work in the westbound lanes is anticipated by the end of July. Work on the bridge approaches is scheduled to be completed before the end of July. Installation of edge drains will begin in mid-July and be completed before the end of July. Asphalt shoulder and median pavement are scheduled to be completed at the end of July.
