Inside a dried buffalo skull\, a group of lively field mice dances and celebrates\, unaware that danger waits nearby in the form of a prowling wildcat. \nThrough vivid storytelling and striking illustrations\, Dance in a Buffalo Skull shares important lessons about awareness\, safety\, and survival on the Great Plains. At the same time\, it celebrates storytelling traditions and the vibrant life of the prairie after dark. \nPerfect for all ages—especially elementary-aged children! No registration is required—just come ready for a fun and educational experience.  Reading is followed by interactive cultural activities for all to enjoy.
